This event, like last years will come out to close to a half a million dollars. There isn't anyone else willing to go out like that. Now what we need is the "Freestyle Community" to come out and support! We are in contract with the Trophy manufacturers and the venue for 3 years. We are hoping that by the time the contracts are up, that we have the support we need to re-sign.
The hotel we use is the Hyatt Regency, which cost about $320.00 per night. We get it for $299.00 per night Min 5 nights. I could get you that deal, but you might be better off finding a less expensive hotel. Flights we get no discount and since we pretty much book last minute due to changes, we pay higher than what you probably can get it yourself. As for the entry. last year we charged just $35.00 a seat, whereas even if we packed it, we wouldn't have made our money back. This year, we aren't sure what we are charging for seats, stay tuned... Ol School, Nu School, No School, now "Newer School" okay! I want to represent, Freestyle.. Good Freestyle. La' Radio has been here 3 years to get behind all schools of Freestyle, whether any of them wanted to take advantage or not was up to them. We Booked the shows with La' Entertainment, eBlasted their flyers with FreestyleBlast.com, told the world how we felt with FreestyleBlogs.com, let everyone have a shot with La' Radio Live, then showed tribute to those who hung tough for many years with The Freestyle Music Awards... What was I missing?
Now FMA 2009 is approaching. Have we learned anything? Has it motivated anyone to step up their game? I am going to highlight those who have or are having a current impact on the market. Stay on La' and be visible, that's the best advice I could give right now. Hope to see more support next year. La' |

We won't do backstage passes because we didn't even allow the artist backstage until they were about to go on stage to perform. You'll sit in the audience with ALL the other fans, artist and industry personnel.
As for the womens version of our fragrance... yes, we are actually in the mist of developing it hoping to have it ready for Christmas. We are actually going to manufacture a male / female set, where we put the men's and womens in the same casing.. It's going to nice. Stay tuned.
